Beyond Shattered Honor is a multimedia project documenting honor killings in Iran and preserving the stories of women and girls whose lives were taken in the name of “honor.” Through archival research, photography, video, installation, and collected names, I examine the intersection of gender-based violence, patriarchal traditions, and legal systems that enable this violence. The project transforms documentation into a space of remembrance, restoring visibility and identity to those too often reduced to statistics or erased from public memory.
